MY ALMA MATER...

                                        

My alma mater is Loyola College . Which is a leading Catholic mixed school located at Bopitiya . The school was officially  started at the church premises of St. Nicholas church on 15th January 2003. I enrolled as a student for the 3rd batch. I've been studied at the school from Primary to Secondary. "SAMARAMU BATHINI SADA" is our school anthem. This was a collective effort of the Archdiocese of Colombo and T.O.R Franciscans. 
                                            Our school is a branch school of Loyola College, Negombo. This is the only catholic school in the educational zone of Ja-ela. I was the head prefect of my school in 2019.There is a big library , a computer laboratory and a science laboratory. Actually It was my habitual action to go to the library to read books. There is also a staff-room, an assembly hall and principal office . Rev.Fr. Thilakasiri has been the first principal of our school.Rev.Fr. Neville Fernano is the Founder of our Alma mater. 
There are three floors in my school building . In fact it is one of the best schools throughout the country.

AN UNFORGETTABLE TRIP I WENT My most unforgettable trip occurred about 3 years ago during the grade 13 second term school vacation. My family members and all of my cousins were interesting to go on a trip to Nuwara Eliya. I have one sibling. His name is Akash Vishmitha. Jest after my father confirmed about the journey , he began to roar. Our bus arrived at our gate at 5.30 a.m. and  we put our luggage into the bus. My parents, my elder brother, a friend of my dad's and I got into the bus. From home we went to Thalawathugoda to pickup our cousins and their neighbors. My mother had packed our breakfast and we had it in the bus. We drove to Nuwara Eliya. On the way we saw the Doven Falls. Our bungalow was superb. We rested for a while and went to Gregory's park and returned to the bungalow.
